Sandro and Antonella came yesterday to bring Claudia's electric kiln to her school. So today we headed out to Machereto and the ancient little town of Visso.
At the end of the day, coming home to San Ginesio we couldn't resist taking pictures of this fabulous sky and sunset.
Buying sheep's milk cheese that is "bio" which means organic in Italy at bargain prices.
The elegant SALUMIERIA in Visso, where we bought CINGHIALE, that is Wild Boar salami. Yummy!
Love these pine's swept by the Sibillini winds..........this is an ancient monastery visited by pilgrims since the 1200's. Up in the mountains all by itself.

I'm trapped in Burque with a huge family!!! and a litle dog named Clyde. Bonnie loves him and he keeps trying to knock her up. He gets fixed Dec 26. He still plays destructo derby. A constant reminder of my fragile sanity. xoxox mutti
Antonell and Sandro are charming! You sound good. xoxox mm
Salami and cheese, doesn't get much more Italian for me! That sunset was gorgeous and the pines remind me of the parallels with home.
We will only have 7 for Thanksgiving but have had non-stop girl gaggles/sleep overs since Friday and won't stop until Thanksgiving so I'm putting in my dues.
Hope you enjoy a good "organic" roasted bird and some pie. I'm guessing it'll be up to you to do most of the fixing. Sounds like you are all good cooks and can make the process enjoyable.
Love to you,
Annie
