More Christmas Eve pictures

Sandro the cook, but Antonella said SHE had cooked the sauce, so there was a running, joking "discussion" about who's tuna sauce is the best, just a long standing family squabble, Sandro is such a joker. They are both excellent cooks. Sandro is holding the Albanian whiskey we tried later, not bad.

Filippo got a new room for his MAIN christmas present, but also a nice new jacket from Roberta
OK , this is a nice, no flash picture of Hiwot
Mitzi the cat just loves my lap, I'm the chosen one and I'm wearing the scarf Antonella knit for ME
That's Marco in the background.........................

Hi Gretchen,
Great food pictures, they made me hungry! Looks like you are having a good time.

Bill and I spent a quiet Christmas and had a good but not elaborate dinner (roast Turkey of course). As to food (again), the Russian salad sounds interesting.

Today, I am going to try making Posole for the first time. It is a soup made with lamb or pork and hominy that we tried on the Navajo reservation. Very good.

The Portlanders are kind of back to normal but now there is freezing rain . . .Andi and Ruben bought a big generator in case it snows some more and they lose power again.

Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas! Now for the pictures of New Year's Eve!

More soon,
Judy
